Horses for Sale? Participate in the Appaloosa “Marketplace” at ApHC World Show

worldhorseDespite cancellation of this year’s World Sale, there is still an easy way for you to market the horses you have for sale during the World Show to visitors and prospective buyers.

1. We’ll provide you with a sticker for each of the horse’s back numbers that can be displayed in every class in which the horse is shown.
2. Announcements will be made throughout the show and signs will be posted on the show grounds to explain the significance of the stickers on some of the back numbers.
3. Complete a For Sale form available in the show office. We’ll provide a copy to anyone who is interested in contacting you about purchasing the horse. Potential buyers can pick these up at the information booth.
4. If the horse is still for sale on Friday, October 31, you can participate in the preview of horses for sale held in the John Justin arena for no additional charge.

Oh look, it’s November 6, 2014 and I just received my Appaloosa Journal with the World Show Preview! Not much good to me now, is it? Why can’t we receive the World Show Preview in the October issue since the show is held in October now? Doesn’t hit me as much a good job of marketing here.

The timing can’t work to have the class entries included in October, but we understand the frustration with not receiving info farther in advance. The November issue was delivered and available at the World Show, but that obviously didn’t do you any good. We’ll keep squeezing deadlines to make the preview available as soon as possible.
