We need to take a moment to thank all the exhibitors and supporters at the 2013 World Championship Appaloosa Show. The general feeling seemed to be that the show was a success and that things went very smoothly. We had 678 horses, which is steady with last year’s show, and overall class entries were up. Moderate weather, no major horse health issues and lots of quality in all categories.
The 2013 World Sale Report will be posted soon, but here are the basics. We had smaller numbers, but very good quality in the horses. A total of 35 horses passed through the ring with an overall average of $4,885, including repurchases. Twenty-two horses changed hands at an average price of $3,040.
Allow me to offer a big THANK YOU to the show staff, arena crew and folks from Will Rogers Memorial Center for all their hard work to make the World Show a success.
