As you can imagine, your ApHC office crew has been focused on preparations for the 2013 World Show. Boxes of “stuff” are packed and being shipped today. Entries are looking pretty good — the general sense at this point is that we may have slightly fewer horses but more class entries than last year (but we know the numbers will change because some of you will make decisions about late entries). I realize that your world is “busy” and daily details can be overwhelming, but I’d like for you to appreciate, just for a minute, the thousands of “little things” that must be done by “someone” in order to stage an event such as the World Show. I’m totally proud of the staff here in Moscow. We have a number of folks who fall into the category of doing whatever it takes, including evenings and weekends to make things happen.
We certainly hope to see you at the show, but here are some reminders. Don’t forget to vote on-line for ApHC directors before Oct. 30th. Don’t forget to check out the consignments to this year’s World Sale (October 30th), and if you can’t attend in person, register to bid at the Superior Livestock site. And, don’t forget to check out the great selection of proven sires in the ApHC Stallion Service Auction – click on the link from our home page or go to myhorseforsale.com. Bidding closes December 31st.
