World Show

Just a reminder to check the Appaloosa Journal site for daily news updates and the Network.

Unofficial tally shows that we had 864 horses competing in Fort Worth. There were at least 2,386 class entries. These are very good numbers — all things considered.

High-selling horse in the World Sale was from the yearling incentive portion of the sale. Miss Ice Te sold for $25,000. We’ll have a sale summary this week, but the average prices held up and most comments from the consignors and buyers reflected positive thoughts about the sale crew and overall outcome.

Mostly, we want to say “thank you” to all our exhibitors who spent the time, money and effort to be involved in the 2010 World Championship Appaloosa Show!

It was a good show with lots of great weather. Was encouraging to see the numbers holding well and the quality of the horses being shown. Thank you to the office and arena crew for a job well done!
