Let's start with my desire to learn to ride back in July 84, walking on Ms. Wilma Tates Ranch. I was hooked, and kept coming back. I later bought my first Appy from Wilma, that I learned so much on. He later on, reared-up with me and I ended up on my rearend. Wilma asked, "you hurt Jerry". I answered, "yea, my shoulders sore". Wilma answered,"good, get back on him, you'll live; it's a long ways from your heart. She was tough, true, honest, and most of all, "A LEGEND". She was and still is an amazing woman. A true role model. I've known her longer than I can remember and can say that she touched so many peoples lives. She is loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial is in the planning for sometime next month (June) to be held at the Riverside Rancheros, in Riverside, CA Wilma passed last Friday, May 7th at home in Nuevo, CA.
