Office notes

The April issue of the Appaloosa Journal enters production this week and completes March 6.

Final corrections are being made on the National Show premium book.

The 2008 Yearbook is also in process.

Entries were mailed last week for American Horse Publications editorial and design competition for materials published in 2008.

What exactly does the Yearbook contain? Only winners from ApHC shows/points? Or does it have racing year end awards? Saddle Log? ACAAP? Trail ride medallion winners?

Here’s a partial list: Hall of Fame, Production Plaque winners, Leading sires, Medallion winners, Supreme Champions, Youth/NonPro/Open year-end high-point earners, International awards, ACAAP, Distance Medallion winners, year-end distance and trail awards, Racing champions and more.

    Steve –

just looking at the National Premium on line –

can you tell me why only open Heritage (390) if offered up @ the natioanls this year? and not Mens (393) and Ladies(394)

Last year there was only 1 entry in ladies and 3 in men’s so we combined them due to lack of entries. They will NOT be combined at the World Show.
