Appaloosa World Sale Reminder

The 2008 Appaloosa World Sale will be on Wednesday, October 29th at 6 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, Fort Worth, Texas. The catalog can be accessed from the home page. The icon is at the bottom of the page.

If you are unable to attend the sale in person, Internet viewing and bidding is available via the website. Internet bidders/buyers must create an account and request a bidder number at least two days prior to the sale (that means today would be a really good day to get an account!).

Yearlings puchased in the “Incentive” sale are eligible to compete in classes at the 2009 World Show. With at least $10,000 in prize money per class in two-year-old hunter under saddle, western pleasure and halter, there is indeed an incentive for you to get involved.

A new segment of the sale this year is the incentive broodmare division. Resulting foals will be eligible for the incentive classes as two-year-olds. In the Select Sale, you’ll be able to choose from a group of proven performers representing a mix of leading performance and halter bloodlines.

The ApHC is also conducting a stallion service silent auction here at the World Show in Fort Worth. Resulting foals are eligible for the incentive classes as two-year-olds.
