And let's make that cover one to be remembered!!!! No one has done more then George! He has kept things together when their was little to work with, and we all need to know that... and recognize him for all his endless work and efforts for the appaloosa horse. It is because of him we enjoy the aphc we have today. I also would love to have cake...lol sounds yummy to me!!! well, see ya'll at Nationals! we will be there!!! But, that leaves a lot of the "WEST" out of the celebration. Most Western State members won't/can't attend the National Show due to logistics, and financial restrictions associated with the extended travel. How about the National Club footing the bill for Cake and Ice Cream to be enjoyed at the Regional Shows? Of course a limit could be set, and credit given to the club for monies spent. Good PR, and fun for all to enjoy during the Lunch Breaks? It could be announced and touted throughout the show. The Trail Ride sounds fun too. Count me in! Thankfully, he and Iola attended our ApHC staff Christmas gathering. We even had George as an after lunch speaker, telling a few stories about early staff get-togethers when the "office" was in his house. Although he's doing remarkably well, I'm not sure if we could get him to travel, but it's sure worth a try. You’re certainly right about George and his role.
