Trail Pals

img_1835stkirkseymour.jpgSurely you didn’t think I’d stay out of all the photos. Juli Thorson managed to capture the essence of “something” here, I’m just not sure what it might be. On the left is Seymour Young Dog, who again conducted the pre-ride blessing/prayer. It’s a very special part of the evening before the Chief Joseph Trail Ride. Seymour is a proud Lakota Sioux, and a proud ApHC member. We’re fortunate to have him in the Appaloosa family. In the middle is Kirk Knowlton, official farrier for the ride. He is also at our major shows and on at least some of the other trail rides. Besides being very good at his trade, Kirk has a special talent for relating to people and spreading good cheer.

Looking for Seymour Youngdog. Worked with Seymour at MEC in Palo Alto before he moved to Denver to work for Martin Marrieta. I live in Idaho, does Seymour live in the American Falls area.
    Need his phone number.
    Thanks for any help!
