It would be a shame to see the US be cut off from the rest of the horse world. Many horses are stolen or obtained under false pretences that are slaughtered also. This inhumane practice must stop and transportation of horses for that purpose must halt also. Cruelty laws need to be strengthened and enforced. Abuse and neglect must be a felony on the 1st offense. This will help make people more responsible.
