I was wondering what the ApHC is doing to become involved with the “The Congressional Cavalry Program” that was introduced in January by the AHC? This program seems like a wonderful way for our organization to have representation in Washington, DC in a Grass Roots fashion.

We’ve simply provided information to members, but will certainly try to assist AHC if called to action. “Traditionally,” there hasn’t been a mechanism in place for ApHC to specifically engage in lobbying or grassroots political activity. That may change in the future, depending on the issues and the Board’s outlook.
